Martina Eberle holds an MA from the Zurich University of the Arts and has a wide professional experience in trade shows, exhibitions and events. After the completion of her MBA at Columbia University and London Business Schools she worked at IBM Research as an analyst for new media. Together with ETH Zurich she developed NOVA as a project for the jubilee of ETH Zurich and is now in charge of business development at the ETH-spin-off-up company horao (www.horao.biz).
The Erratum ensemble is a conceptual construction that makes having an ensemble which expands and folds in on itself to allow for the type of production at hand. It is consists of a bank of about fifty performers who specialize in many different areas of the arts, technology and philosphy etc. Directed by Art Clay it has produced many productions on tour over a period of 15 years. Jürg Gutknecht is professor for computer science and head of the Computer Systems Institute at the ETH Zürich. He has a passion for new hybrid art forms. He has actively participated in culturally-oriented "wearable computing" projects, including "Instant Gain in Grace" (motion tracking of a Butoh dancer), "Going Publik" (distributed orchestra based on mobile electronic scoring), and "On the Sixth Day" (multi-channel video system for interactive storytelling). Andrew J. Jones was born in Chicago and raised in New York's Hudson Valley. After attending SUNY Cortland, he moved to New York City to pursue a career in publishing and music. In 1996 he and his wife expatriated to Copenhagen, Demark. He is the author of many poems and one chapbook, Paradise, published in 2004. Since 1998 he has lived in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Cary Kornfeld is an innovator and teacher who has brought unique invention to both industry and academia. He has taught at a number of institutes of higher education internationally. At the ETH Zurich he has teaches stereoscopic imaging and film. The course gets students to explore, examine, and study stereoscopic imaging, systems and productions to better understand the phenomenon and motivates them on a hands-on nature in the creation of wonderful new 3d films.
Irena Kulka has a background in biochemistry, dance performance and new media. Her current media projects aim at altering the state of mind. Her project "Instant Gain in Grace" was the start of a collaboration with the ETH Zürich. In her work, Irena Kulka explores her vision of a fluent creative process with digital instruments between imagination and visual design, between improvisation and choreography.
Dr. Ling Liu has worked in the Native Systems group for one year. She has implemented the Oberon compiler for AVR processors and designed a virtual machine for 8-bit processors. She also implemented a compiler for the 8-bit virtual machine and developed an interpreter for this virtual machine on AVR processors. She is now assisting the system construction course.

Dennis Majoe has a PhD in Navigation related Electronic systems and has worked extensively in the design of a variety of motion and orientation sensing systems and computer generated environments including 3D audio. Alève Mine (CHE) is a vocal artist who in the span of her carrier has sung from pop to experimental music. Out of her vast experience with various bands and ensembles, she has forged her own unique style, writing and singing songs in various languages. Stefan Muller Arisona is a post-doctoral research fellow at Media Arts and Technology (MAT) of the University of California, Santa Barbara. His main interests are at the intersections of art and technology, and his research focuses on novel real-time multimedia systems and on live composition and performance techniques. Stefan received an MSc in Computer Science from Uppsala University (Sweden, 1997) and a MSc in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zurich (Switzerland, 1998). He was visiting researcher at IRCAM Centre Pompidou (France, 2003) and completed his PhD at the University of Zurich's Multimedia Lab (Switzerland 2004). Dr. Simon Schubiger-Banz works as a senior engineer at Swisscom Innovations, teaches a mobile systems architecture course at ETH Zurich, and is an associate researcher of the Pervasive and Artificial Intelligence group (PAI) at the University of Fribourg (DIUF). His research interests include multimedia performance systems, knowledge representation, programming languages, user interface design, and mobile computing. He is a co-developer of the Soundium2 multi-media system. Simon Schubiger-Banz received a Ph. D. in computer science from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. He is a member of the ACM and president of the Corebounce Association.

Sven Stauber is PhD student at the Native Systems Group at ETH Zurich. His research focus is the design and implementation of an interactively composable graphical user interface. He was involved as software engineer in various art events.
Thomas M. Stricker is a computer scientist with interests in high performance distributed computing. He has been a professor for computer architecture and operating systems, a senior systems scientist for Google and chairman of the IEEE international conference on Cluster. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and is participating in digital arts week projects just for the fun of it.
Antoine Thomas-Gérard graduated from ETH Zurich with a master in computer science. In his diploma thesis, which he wrote at the Stereoscopic Imaging Research Group of ETH, he worked on improving stereoscopic viewing methods based on anaglyphic filtering."

Francisco was born in Cuba in 1976. At the age of 8 he began taking piano lesson as well as percussion. As a percussion student he won several competitions in Cuba as well as in Basel. He graduated in Basel (2003) getting the Soloist Diploma. Currently he teaches percussion, joins the Chamber Orchestra for some projects and gives solo concerts on the marimba.
Dominik Dolega, geboren 1979 in Krakau, Polen, studierte Schlagzeug bei Prof. Jan Pilch an der Hochschule für Musik Krakau und schloss mit einem Lehr- und einem Solistendiplom mit Auszeichnung ab. Für weiterführende Studien kam er anschliessend an die Musik-Akademie Basel, wo er bei Christian Dierstein ein Konzertdiplom im Fach Schlagzeug und bei Walter Fähndrich ein Kozertdiplom in freier Improvisation erwarb.
Tomasz Flammer, geb. 21.12.1977 in Krakau, absolvierte 2002 mit Auszeichnung die Musikakademie in Krakau als Dipl.-Schlagzeuger und Musiklehrer. Seit 2002 arbeitet in der Musikschule „Hast Du Töne“ in Deutschland und dirigiert. Seit 1997 nimmt an mehreren Musikprojekten teil: Kammermusik, Zusammenarbeit mit symphonischen Orchestern in Polen, Deutschland und Österreich als Unterhaltungsmusik.
