About the Opening:
Limbic Media would like to invite you to the official opening of its G++ Gallery. G++ is Victoria’s first exhibition space to focus exclusively on interactive multimedia installation. The space has been donated for use by Limbic Media, a company that specializes in real-time interactive multimedia control technologies for use entertainment markets, education, research, and the fine arts.
The gallery launch is part of the Digital Art Weeks 2011: Off Label Festival and the opening will be an opportunity for local media arts organizations and galleries to network with an international group of multimedia artists and theorists attending the Off Label Festival.
At the opening visitors will be able to meet some of the artists and engineers who will be working together over the next year to bring interactive art to the street level. In addition, the opening will feature live music and visuals, an interactive installation, and our new interactive gallery sign.
