About the Events

Similar to the DAW10 Project in 2008 that was conceived and realized by the group for the ETH in partnership with swisnex Shanghai, the DAW10 project was held in Xi’an and continued the focus on innovation in the presentation of scientific and artistic research within the context of cultural exchange with the goal of mutual enrichment and knowledge transfer. The transdisciplinary approach that has been taken by the Digital Art Weeks group over the years is evident in the programming of the events and in Xian it formed a solid basis for collaborative art and research, and provides multiple and mutual benefits for all partners involved. The educational settings in which the events took place were of interest not only in the areas of arts and science but also in areas of educational exchange and activity.
